I am not impressed anymore of "first blacks"; right now there's no useful significance to Black faces in high places - their presence only strengthens the systems of oppression, judging from recent events.

I tend to disagree with that observation: if they didn't realize it under Reagan, Clinton, Nixon, Bush etc., why would they realize it now? I think the majority of white Americans seem to have an innate prejudice against Black people and that's why folks like Trump easily persuade them to vote against their best interests.

And i'm not feeling Angie Nelson Deuitch - she sounds too establishment for my taste. Plus she's married to a 'snow bunny'. Oh lawwd
