There's a controversial excerpt I read some time ago from a book by Norman F. Cantor, 'The Sacred Chain', which briefly counterposes white & black slavery..i'll try to post it here etc. Just know that this history will piss off some folks.

We've got to marvel at how our enemies were able t o twist the meaning of 'woke' and weaponize it against us. When Stokely Carmichael started emphasizing Black self-determination & self-reliance and used the term 'Black Power', our enemies also twisted it to mean Black supremacy & violence against white people - in other words, they equated it with "white power" and its KKK associations. That's how demonic our enemies have been and remain so.

Again, congrats to you Les, but remember there's a new McCarthyism at hand and it's worse than the previous one. Be prepared for it.
