Met him at a Central Park African Summerstage event very early on but after the Cosby Show was in repeat!
Heard a commotion behind me and there he was being ushered back stage!
I reached out my hand and he was very cool about my gesture!
He was named after Malcolm X and a very progressive Jazz artist etc
Big props to his mom for protecting him from Hollywood's madness - he emerged unbroken AND MARRIED TO A BLACK WOMAN😲🫢😆
