Yes indeed, the water level here was at a historic high. Never in my 70 years of living here did i see rain like that. Just blocks from my house, on the trail and streets which my bike path is, people were stranded on top of cars crying out to be rescued. A Black dude was on tv telling the story of how he broke his car window to escape the on rushing water and swam two blocks to safety. So far, miraculously, no one has died. Lot of folk here have damaged homes. Very sad. Fortunately, i have been spared of any problems. My condo is fine, as is my car.
