Don't shoot the messenger.
This is Trump on AIPAC/Israel lobby during an interview:

"I will tell you, Israel had the strongest lobby in Congress of anything or body or of any company or corporation or state that I've ever seen. Israel was the strongest..There was a time you couldn't speak bad about Israel if you wanted to be a politician... Israel was the strongest lobby I've ever seen. They had total control over Congress."

Trump was commenting on the decreasing support for Israel lately in Congress, especially among young representatives. That's true, but AIPAC remains powerful.

Had it been anyone besides Trump making that observation he'd be labeled an antisemite!
BUT THEN, President Kennedy, President Nixon, and President Carter, all spoke of the power of the Israeli lobby in America. Kennedy even wanted them to register as "a foreign agent", which got him into lots of trouble before he was killed.
