France, Germany, Canada, Australia and the UK are now calling for, and supporting, a Palestinian state, given Israel's continuing ethnic cleansing and destruction of the Palestinian homeland.

Why it's performative solidarity? Because France, Germany and especially the UK were all arming and enabling the genocide as it was happening. They were caving in to Zionist pressure & influence & money.
Now that they see how the rest of the world is repulsed by Israel's version of a "final solution" to "their" Palestinian problem, these leaders are jumping onto the bandwagon, but to me IT'S TOO LATE AND TOO PERFORMATIVE.

BIG PROPS to Spain, Ireland, Belgium too(heehee), and especially South Africa for being ahead of the game on this.
