He didn't "specify" what type of oppressed is he talking about, you have the oppressed elite that lives like gods within its oppressive country. And of course we are all in solidarity with the oppressed who's facing genocide. If I was alive back in the 18th-19th century I would have unquestionably supported the native Americans cause despite the Cherokee enslavement of Black people.
