I've got to listen to more of this but I'm still not buying into William Barber - he's too much of a romantic from my point of view.
First I heard of him there was more of a militancy to his approach, but as media paid attention he became too 'liberal' for my taste. Then he started getting funds from those groups and that was enough for me.
It's no surprise he does not have more of a black following. Many AAs find him a bit sneaky & calculating. Almost fancing himself an inheritor of Dr King's legacy etc etc. NO!!!!

Anyway he's made amends for his bullshit response to Hamas Oct.7 attack but that's because he had to catch up to street progressives & rebels.
So no, i'm not big on William Barber, and please don't shoot😆
