I recall it being an anomaly seeing a Black quarterback starting in an NFL game. Now it is becoming an anomaly seeing a white one. Well almost. LOL!! I am so old that I recall seeing a sport magazine in a grocery store way, way back when the late great point guard Lenny Wilkins was a rookie in the NBA. His picture was on the cover and underneath the picture it asked if a Negro could lead an NBA team.
