I have that record and to me it's a classic!
'Down By The River' is magnificently awesome!
'Them Changes' is persiquitiously upperdemically macglorious, if you know what I mean...LOL
And what about Buddy teaming with Hendrix in 'Band of Gypsies'? Pretty cool!

And what about BST? Lead singer has one of the most underrated voices in soul & rock music!
And what about the arrangements of 'Hi De Ho', eh? Probably one of the best horn sections EVAR!

Not a fan of Herbie Hancock.. I think he's overrated.
