I've been following this story even before David Ellison and his father Larry Ellison started his takeover shit!
And believe me, this is more than facilitating the silencing of Trump's critics or whitewashing Trump's presidency.

I think the writer did a good job but his focus is too narrow. To understand what is happening at CBS you have to know that both Larry & David Ellison are two of the wealthiest pro-Israel Jewish Zionists on the American landscape, and are the biggest financial boosters not only of Trump but also Netanyahu & the IDF. Ever since Israel lost the narrative to folks on YouTube, TikTok, etc., the Israel lobby has been seeking ways to reclaim how the genocide in Gaza is being reported internationally, especially in the US. In other words, the Ellisons are not only busy buying out other media companies to help silence Trump's critics and help whitewash the mess Trump is making, of more importance is the need to control the flow of information as it relates to Israel's misdeeds in the Middle East and around the world.

Also important to this overall scheme of things, is the fallout from Ta-Nehisi Coates' appearance on CBS during which he described Israel as an apartheid state. The prime owner of CBS then, Shari Redstone (a fierce Zionist & Israel/American dual citizen), was pissed off at that interview and went bunkers! She got rid of the executive producers of that segment and vowed such an interview would never happen on a national media platform again. And that's the beginning of how the Ellison family & the Redstone family started the process of bringing in the pro-Israel nutcase, Bari Weiss, into the mix.

LOL.. dude i've been following Bari Weiss' work for a long time since her New York Times gig where she was constantly working to get pro-Palestinian intellectuals & scholars banned, censored or fired. And she seems particularly obsessed with targeting Black female scholars and public intellectuals etc etc. No surprise that she's gotten rid of a number of Black journalists at CBS since being brought in by the Ellisons.

Btw, there's a video of Netanyahu predicting the Ellison family would be buying or taking over a huge chunk of American media to help facilitate the Zionist version of events etc. So far, it's happening!
