Ha, ha, Debbie, GM is on the mark. My forte really is research. I had a ball here in Chicago, today, having a classroom of 7th graders peruse Les Lester's Chronicle. It was their free time and rather than video games, I suggested LLC. It was delightful to see future PhDs and leaders taking notes on their own and asking great questions, like "Why have Westerners worked to hide our history?"

Nah! We need Les in library & museum basements helping expose hidden and forbidden knowledge about our suppressed history, both continental & diasporic. That's Les' lane!
Like brotha Kwame Ture/Stokely Carmichael use to say, we need revolutionaries in classrooms, churches, libraries, on stage, sports arenas, and in the streets. In other words, acquiring knowledge is a revolutionary act. That's where Les Lester fits in.
Stokely definitely influenced my reading habits.
