Because there's too much money in politics - you need too much money to get in the game..
As long as it remains this way, big corporations & the Israeli lobby will continue to decide who is elected and who's interest is served.
For example, about 90% of the Congressional Black Caucus is owned & controlled by AIPAC. What a disgrace!

So yes, you can have an Arab or Palestinian or Iranian president, things will remain the same..
You had a Black president, Barack Obama, who acted as much as a white imperialist/colonizer as any other white president.

BUT, i'm feeling things are about to change with more and more Americans turning against Israel.
