Grandma died in 1999 and Father-in-law died in 2022.
Now my step-mother has it too but she's still alive. I always pray for her.

As a home care provider with Catholic Charities, I have seen first-hand the hell this disease creates. It harms not only the poor soul that has it, but also the family members of him/her. It is devastating. On a personal note. My sister-in-law just passed two months ago. She suffered with it for two years before passing.

Lawd, Alzheimer's doesn't start when you forget your keys at 75 of age. It starts when "amyloid plaques" begin silently building in your brain at 30.
To me this means, Alzheimer is a dangerous bastard, because its symptoms typically appear later in life, which means you can never caught Alzheimer on time before it goes further, before it reaches an irreversible stage.
