Dude was a serious artist--an underappreciated artist..
A serious sculptor, educator etc etc..
A Black artist born in Houston..

Signed: so once again another AfricanAmerican genius is claimed with most folks not knowing of his accomplishments..maybe 85% of Black Houstonians have never heard of Melvin Edwards. So depressing!....grimreaper
