Did yall see the video & picture of an Israeli soldier using an axe or sledgehammer to smash the head of a statue of Jesus Christ in a Christian neighborhood in Lebanon?
That shit has gone viral around the world and now the backlash is fierce.

Sometimes you get the impression that Israeli society is sinking into a bad place and that too many of the IDF soldiers have given in to their worst human impulses. You'd expect a certain level of brutality toward Muslims in the area but suddenly Christians are being targeted, expelled, and now their Christian icons are being damaged & desecrated. Scary stuff.

Btw, for those not paying attention, during the genocide in Gaza, Israel did not differentiate between Palestinian Muslims & Christians - they were all wiped out as a collective.
