Remember when climate scientists and activists use to warn us about melting polar ice caps, glaciers, etc?
And remember how Republicans & other reactionary conservatives used to mock & trivialize & dismiss them? Guys like Rush Limbaugh use to call them nut cause etc.
Now are we really ready to take global warming seriously or are we still gonna act stoopid and ignore what's happening all over the planet, latest example being the catastrophe in Nepal?
I once saw little Greta Thunberg addressing a delegation on the tragedy awaiting the world if we don't take the fallout from the melting glaciers seriously. I remember how young she was and how she had obviously done the homework etc.
I wonder how she feels after watching videos of that enormous body of water cascading down over towns and villages in Nepal. Scary shit!
