Kudos to the Catholic Reporter for this great article which I posted below. As a lifelong Catholic, I never knew about the long, rich history of canonized saints who were transgender. They date all the way back to the medieval period. Unearthing this history and bringing it to light would have a positive impact on many young people struggling with their own identity.
