As someone who spent most of the latter years of my adult life studying and drawing faces, this article in Commonweal entitled, "Look Again," caught my eye. Check it out; it is worth the read.

We all benefit greatly from viewing portraits of our fellow man. Walls between us are broken down, helping end divisiveness and promoting solidarity.

The article also gives some info on an ongoing exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC entitled, "The Face of Life.
