Too bad, like I said below, you are quick to forget or maybe when I posted about Queen Nzinga Mbade you were out vacationing, visiting someone, and then upon your return to LLC you simply missed clicking on theone's post that spoke about Queen Nzinga a couple years ago including her picture which was right there for everyone to see.
I think way before I've posted about Queen Nzinga it was "Papersack" first who mentioned her name on this board. Papersack, a great guy, I missed him so much. He's a TRUE Pan-Africanist.

She was a skilled diplomat, a brilliant military tactician, and, most importantly, an avowed anti-colonialist. In Angola, the territory she ruled centuries earlier, she is a revered historical figure.
My question? why have i not heard of her before? Why must i dig, scrape and visit obscure web sites to find info on this great woman? shameful.
I spent most of yesterday reading up on Queen Nzinga Mbade, who ruled the area now known as Angola.
I was disappointed to read in one of the articles (but not surprised) the lies about her savagery. It's a common theme created by Western media to depict African leaders as less than human.
Nzinga, in one of the articles posted below, claims she slit the throat of one of her attendants to terrorize the Portuguese governor, with whom she was negotiating.
Check out the articles I found on her. I apologize if others here have already posted about her. Most likely, you guys know her story better than I.
