There are huuuge student protests happening in France as we speak and the person who's now the hero of that movement is none other than the new mayor of saint Denis, France, Bally Bagayoko(Malian)..
The student-led protest is a nation-wide thing and during one of its ugliest turns, mayor Bagayoko threw himself between the wicked police and the students they were about to attack..
When videos of the moment went viral, the French students were impressed..
And now that he's publicly embraced their cause, he's become the legit hero of the movement.
Why are the students protesting? Because they feel betrayed & let down by the educational system overall and the current diminishing structures in which they attend classes etc.
How cool is it that a nation's students have taken to the streets to voice their frustrations with school curriculums, deteriorating educational structures, and lack of gov't investment in the overall system. Awesome!
BIG PROPS TO MAYOR BALLY BAGAYOKO.
Of course, the rebel students are the true heroes of the moment, but Bagayoko stands out.
A slight shout out to Mr TheOne who introduced us to Mayor Bally Bagayoko during one of his saner moments on the board😂😂
