LOL, I mean, G, I've got a few complaints from Kris today about these Juneteenth celebrations taking place in some "unexpected" states like Hawaii, Idaho, Alaska, Montana and Wyoming, hahahah!! Kris said he only expect Juneteenth to be celebrated in states like Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Florida etc etc...LOL!!

Now, those two women were well grounded and explained things in perspective, TheOne. I saw some younger folks talking about Black History Month on a Guam TV show, a couple of years ago, who failed to take into account that Black Pacific Islanders often consider themselves of African heritage, while others haven't been exposed to the framework of the global African presence.
The reality is that we have to do a better job in diffusing research from knowledgeable Black researchers.
Like the women said, an understanding of Juneteenth provides perspective on freedom for all Americans.

And the Black lady on the left "Ms Trish Walker" she's a CEO, a great manager of Black businesses in the state of Idaho. I have seen a couple other videos where she was interviewed on the local Idaho TV. She got a visionary leadership for the Black community in Idaho. Trish Walker is also the 4th AA generation born and raised in Boise, Idaho.
And yes, Les, the Melanesians of the pacific Islands consider themselves Black. There is a community of 100 to 200 thousand ppl known as the south sea Islanders living in Australia, they are the descendants of the Melanesian slave trade that took place in the 18th century between Vanuatu island and Australia from 1788 to 1807. Today the South Sea Islanders community too are demanding "reparations" from Australia's govt.

Yes, most of the people on those Melanesian chains get it. But the Polynesians are a bit confused. The Rock, a Polynesian, tried to add light to things with the movie title: "Black Adam." But most Polynesians, like the Arabs, lean towards the lighter framing of their culture.

Btw, Les, Kris Never Told You This About "SAN ANTONIO", TX. (Video)
Didn't get to see the full video, TheOne. But awesome research--the thrust of the Mexican soldiers attacking San Antonio were Black soldiers from Africa, the Canary Islands. I've never heard that story.
I will certainly finish this video and research the info further.
Sometimes I see the videos, or in part, on this forum, and read posts, but have to leave or something and don't get to respond.
That is cutting-edge research, bro.

And GM should be punished by paying a heavy fine for not being aware about San Antonio, Tx, real story since he lives in Texas.
G, you have to choose now, I mean either you pay a fine or have your head cut off. LOL
