Meet Minnie M.Cox (photo below with former President Theodore Roosevelt), the first Black female postmaster. The white citizens of Mississippi wanted to eliminate AAs from all political positions, and they particularly wanted Cox removed as postmaster since she was a woman. After Minnie Cox was forced out, President Theodore Roosevelt "continued" to pay her salary and he ordered the Indianola post office to suspend operations in 1903, and it did not re-open until the following year. During the period in between, he punished the town by "rerouting" their mail 30 miles away until they gave her back the position.
Ha-ha-ha-ha, I bet you former president Theodore Roosevelt put some serious pressure on Kris in Mississippi and made him go Splaaaaaaat in 1903. LOL
Big props to Roosevelt on this one, LOL, I mean even President Roosevelt himself felt Black on that day when he heard the story of Minnie Cox. He completely destroyed Kris's post office. And worse Minnie Cox's salary continued to be paid while the office was closed. ha-ha-ha!! I can see Kris hanging himself on a tree in 1903. LOL!!
