Bernie speaks for me both in his criticism of the Israeli government's assault on people in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon & in his support for Kamala Harris. Thanks to Portside for circulating Bernie's statement which I'd otherwise have missed.

What will Trump & Netanyahu do that will be worst than an ongoing genocide? I mean seriously, who dares repeat that justification to the face of a Palestinian whose entire family has been massacred? Bernie is a Democratic party Senator and he's towing the line to elect a Democratic president.
I like Bernie Sanders and if Black folks took their politics seriously, Sanders would be president, not Biden. He is also a liberal Jewish Zionist and an authentic one. If he was president I don't think we'd be witnessing a genocide today, though Israel would still be oppressing the Palestinian people.
Kamala Harris is probably more of a Zionist than Biden and her rise to the top is owed to the support and funding of the Israeli lobby, especially AIPAC. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT KAMALA WILL BE MORE PROGRESSIVE THAN BIDEN ON ISRAEL. If she tries to force Israel into a cease fire or impose sanctions or an embargo, SHE WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. That's a fact!
BTW, on close reading, I notice how both you and Sanders calculatingly avoided using the word genocide to describe what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people. I wonder why?🤔🤔

For those of you Kamal-ites thinking of going after Rashida Tlaib, please don't! Remember that she's a Palestinaian congresswoman watching the Biden/Harris administration fund & supply Israel with the weapons currently slaughtering her people. And no, she does not support Donald Trump, calling him a "proud Islamophobe" etc etc.

Kamala Harris still supports Biden’s actions in Gaza! She has not distanced herself from her administration's total arming & financing Israel's genocide in Gaza. Since she takes credit for the supposedly good stuff Biden does, why refuse to take responsibility for the evil actions of her administration? Isn't that how things work?
