Couldn't help but notice that even the "Griqua" community in South Africa live better off than "Al-Akhdām"(Afro-Yemenis) in Yemen who are still slaves.
FYI, the Griqua are not Coloureds and are not Khoisan. The Griqua consider themselves as being South Africa's first multiracial nation with people descended directly from Dutch settlers in the Cape. And like the Boers they migrated inland from the Cape and in the 19th century established several states in what is now South Africa and Namibia.

This is about an hour long so i'll get to it later.. But the usual mistake is being made in labeling Africans or Black folks in that region as "slaves" or got there thru a slave trade.. Many modern Yemenis are a bit lighter skin than they originally were.. The relations between Yeminis & Somalians date back from antiquity, so this 'slave trade' take is mostly bogus.
LOL.. and btw, the Israelis are now treating Yeminis like they treat Palestinians - they are bombing the shit out of them using the Houthis as an excuse. At least the Houthis continue to show strong support for the Palestinian cause though i'm not sold on them. And oh yes, genocide Biden is also bombing the shit out of Yemen. Bastard!

We know that, but the bottom line is that the Afro-Yemenis were and are still enslaved in their own native land (Yemen) by some folks who do not see themselves as Black ppl and its true they are NOT black. And btw these Arab folks in Yemen if you ask me are even lighter skinned than the Mulattoe elite of Haiti. They have more caucasian features than the Mulattoes of Haiti, their features are more Euro-centric. The Haitian Mulattoes look blacker than those folks who enslaved the Afro-Yemenis in Yemen.
So, sorry, you can't give a pass to the light skinned Yemenis on the pretext that they are a bit lighter skin today than they originally were, and go "mad" on the Haitian mulattoes who are directly half black and would still look Black if they settle in the Yemen,.. and most likely these Haitian Mulattoes can easily be bought and sold in the Yemen society, simply because they are darker.
