Oh Dear, I did not see this coming. Wow!! I have great memories of that powerful "Soul Brothers" duo. Just an anecdote: I had an acquaintance who told me that he booked Sam and Dave to play at his night club in Champagne, Illinois. I believe this was in the late 70's or early eighties. He said Sam told him when he picked them up at the airport that "we are not singing one note unless we get some cash in our hand." LOL!!!! I'm sure that reflects a history of them getting ripped off by many in the music industry.

😆😂..every thing i've read about Sam Moore makes this true! Sam was outspoken like fucc and a bit ole negro conservative in his politics. Even Bruce Springsteen joked about him. Lol..even when he was criticized about performing during Trump's inauguration he didn't give a shit.
btw Sam also had some great James Brown moves too.

So Ricky Henderson was claimed too? How could such a legendary baseball player/athlete with all kinds of guaranteed health care insurance etc., pass away at such a relatively young age, 65 yrs? Scary. I missed this one....RIP
