Can you believe that a draft dodger is now judging who is fit to serve in our military. On Tuesday, Donald Trump's ban on transexuals got the go ahead from The Supreme Court. BTW, only 1 of 9 members of the court have served themselves.
Some of the 4200 transexuals serving, however, are not going without a fight. Transgender, Navy Cmdr. Emily Shilling is suing along with seven others.
Shilling, a 19-year veteran of the Navy, who flew over 60 combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan stated the following:
"You know, I just want to keep serving. I have served for nearly 20 years. I'm a combat aviator, test pilot, and I have served with honor and distinction.
And all I'm asking is for myself and the thousands of other transgender troops just like me to be allowed to continue to do what we want to do, which is serve the American public."
The Navy has invested over $20 million in her 19 -year military career.
