Dr. Carla Hayden has been fired!
She was the Librarian of Congress - head of the world's largest library..
Yet another top Black female purged out of the federal system..
They say she was allowing too many "woke books" and woke events at the library system.

I am soo pissed because I'VE ACTUALLY MEET DR. CARLA HAYDEN..
She read to a bunch of kids at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn..
Among those kids was one of my daughters and two of my nieces..
She took time out to shake hands with the parents in attendance and I was one of them.

Heard about it yesterday shortly before I went to bed. Never knew who she was until last night(photo below). Indeed, a top one. Just like Air Force Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr.

Dude, these are some "REAL" bad times for AAs. Gotta deal with these "rassholes" for another 5 yrs....

But here's the thing though, there's hardly any outrage from the CBC, muchless the rank & file of the Democratic party.
Whoever the white supremacists bring in to replace her will never equal Carla Hayden's qualifications and effectiveness as the head of the Congressional Library. That's a fact.

Man, if the Black community was a more stable, focused, and economically healthy one, the Trumpists wouldn't dare target us. I swear!

Edda L. Fields-Black, a Black female historian just won a Pulitzer Prize for history..
Her book, "COMBEE: Harriet Tubman, the Combahee River Raid, and Black Freedom during the Civil War".

Never heard of the author, never heard of her book, but congrats to her for keeping the stories of our ancestors alive.

..oh oh, I just got a note from the Trump klansmen announcing that they're about to shut down the Pulitzer Prize committee for being "woke" and awarding 'Combee' the Pulitzer prize.. they'll also ban the book from all American libraries. WhatEVAR!!

My first time hearing her name and seeing her face(photo below).

Edda L. Fields-Black looks smart, congratulations to her for winning the Pulitzer Prize for history, I mean this sista brought up some vitally important questions, like how did knowledge of grains from West Africa shape rural lands and cities in North America? And why has it taken so long for historians to address the agricultural knowledge work of enslaved persons?

She told us all about rice farming in the United States, including the agricultural traditions of the Gullah and Geechee peoples, including her personal connection to this history. My hats off to her.

Yup, well said. Trumpists are obviously not targeting the Asian-American community and that's despite the Trump-China trade war.
