Here're the results of genealogy research I was doing 20 years ago. (Look at the semantics they use "pleasant Hill" lol, that was the plantation my ancestor's were on. Or "Friendship Belfast," linked to Freeman Irby -- that was a slave ship.

Lawwd, I just saw the Nottoway plantation burning down to the ground. Never heard of Nottoway by the way, but anyway, they're saying that about 8 years ago it was reported that the carriage house is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young enslaved girl who died there 150 years ago.
