Memo to Cong. Eleanor Holmes Norton...

Especially if folks don't hold you accountable...Smh

I like Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton but can someone tell her to STEP DOWN ALREADY?!

She's gonna be 88-yrs old this week and is barely able to move around, yet given the pleas of many around her to step aside and let a younger warrior represent the non-voting DC seat, she announces she'll run for reelection next year. Gosh!

She's represented that DC district for 18 terms - about 36 yrs..
So, Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, please step down, retire gracefully, and let your Civil Rights legacy speak for itself.
Plus, that seat is a non-voting one in Congress.

Ha, ha, I love Eleanor Holmes Norton. But I'll have to google her and see
if she's lost a step. She's always been an inspiration to me.

I'm a fan of her Civil Rights legacy, but like too many Black elected politicians, they get into office and simply refuse to hand over power to newer and more robust young Black warriors.
We can not win true liberation with such selfishness.
We see the same thing happening on the African continent where folks get into power and overstay their usefulness to the masses.
At 87-yrs old, and barely showing up to attend her congressional duties, it's time to move on. Please.

She's the Paul Biya of the United States, hahahaha

Maybe its a genetic problem. LOL!!! I bet you if she goes for a DNA test ancestry, the results will be 100% "Cameroon" . Hahahaha!!
