My Tweet of the Week goes to a young lady I followed on twitter. She is of Irish/Ugandan parents that settled in Great Britian and has courageously gone to bat for the oppressed, including the Palestinians:
Fiona Lali @fiona_lali · Oct 28, 2024 This is their American dream. Billionaire endorsements and genocide with a smile.
This is the enemy of the women and mothers of Gaza. We will never forget

Ha, há, Fiona is a nascent firebrand, Maestro. Now, in relation to our American girls, there’s nescience and there’s ignorance in the world. They’re operating within the cultural framework of their normative influencies.
The saving grace concerning them is that they are open to evolve as the emerging truths unfold.

Sorry you find this humorous les. sorry you write Fiona off as a nascent firebrand. (chuckle chuckle) Some of us take Harris' part in the genocide of the Palestinians seriously. Are we to have patience with these American girls to evolve while Palestinians and their families are wiped off the face of the earth?

Fiona is young and emerging. To be at the beginning of one’s prominence is a very honorable position, to be in. Kamala and Beyoncé’s space, in society, is indeed a reflection of the larger framing they find themselves immersed in via their demographic position. I have seen people like them evolve when exposed to facts that were outside of their normative milieu. I have great empathy for the Palestinian predicament, yet I’m constantly mindful of their históric tendêncy to mitigate the dignity of the Black Palestinians. I don’t hold it against them, meanwhile, because they’re born into that limiting culture, too. I just wrote an op ed piece on the 4th estáte, that hasn’t been published yet, that deals with the media’s complicity in social engineering when it withholds important facts the public should be aware of, like the information we espouse on this blog. If they look away, with the obvious power they have, then they’re the real problem in society. Because people will continue to come to inaccurate conclusions, whether its politicians or entertainers, when they’re bereft of critical information. Kamala and Beyoncé are coming to conclusions based on the status quo information they access.

Harris, long ago, has proven with her legislative record that she is a team player when it comes to the perpetuation of US hegemony. She is in good standing with our ruling class. You are very naive, Les. If she is supporting Israel's genocide merely because she is bereft of the correct information, why are the American people getting the correct info and she is not? Six of every ten Americans are now against military aid to Israel? Perhaps we ought to study the role of money involved in the eradication of the Palestinians. Are you aware of the huge sums of money these monsters like Harris receive from the wicked Israeli lobby? Harris has done quite well for herself:

Well, I certainly felt we were giving Israel the store when we put Harris up for President, given her husband is Jew ish. But with Trump running, we were in a catch 22. I’ve pointed out, on this blog, how Israel gets $3.8 billion each Jan. from the U.S. in addition to getting arms deals, which is frankly double dipping, since they’re also major arms manufacturers here in the U.S.
Her being a team player, your words, puts me in mind of Barack Obama in the Gaddafi killing. I posed him as being uninformed, as well. It’s unthinkable to me that people would sell their souls for filthy lucre, to the degree that is apparently status quo on this planet. I suppose that is why my heart is as light as the feather of truth. I don’t align myself with anything that’s outside of my core beliefs. If we as a country are indeed the Faustian Republic you’re outlining, about people, the end result is indeed going to be bad.
I don’t believe we can win outside the tenants of the goodwill of the moral universe.

Maestro, I was SOOO overjoyed on reading your post about Fiona Lali.. I am a great admire and posted briefly about her here during one of our discussions on the Democratic Socialist party in the US.. I think I mentioned that the DSA needed a couple Black faces like hers to kinda jump-start the Black community into a new political consciousness etc etc.
Fiona Lali takes no prisoners and is well-read, which is a big deal to me considering the many clowns & poseurs which constitute many current Black activists/activism. I am sure you've noted that her beliefs are closer to George Jackson's than to Stokely Carmichael, and it's all good!
