My prayers go to Zohran

I say a daily prayer for Zohran Mamdani, the young, Democratic Socialist candidate for mayor of the big apple. Clearly, his safety is a concern. His message is resonating, which has ignited a fury from the Upper East Side of Manhattan billionaire class and their media stooges. The minute someone popular with the masses starts talking about solidarity, income inequality, and US hegemony, lines are drawn, and guns are loaded. History tells us so. Malcolm, Martin and young Fred Hampton are all the examples you need. Stay safe, Zohran.

I share that concern!
Most folks don't really understand how shattering Mamdani's victory was in the heart of America's capitalist system--dude was an unabashed socialist😲!

Add to that is the fact he was anti-Zionist in the most Jewish city in America, winning the majority Jewish votes (I'll double check).
So yes, there's reason to fear for Zohran's safety.

Another concern is whether he's able to withstand the pressure from the Democratic party to soften his support for the Palestinian cause. We'll see.

😆🤣..some pro-Israel supporters would also like to see Zohran Mamdani "denaturalized". Gosh!

Speaker Hakeem Jeffries & the democratic party establishment don't endorse or embrace Zohran Mamdani BUT, Hakeem's brother, Hasan Kwame Jeffries, endorsed Zohran strongly during the primaries and remains a huuuge supporter of Mamdani. Cool.

😆🤣...I guess Hakeem's brother isn't owned by the Israeli lobby/AIPAC.

Btw, Hasan Kwame Jeffries is a professor at Ohio State university where he teaches African American, US, and Civil Rights history.

Hasan Kwame Jeffries(photo below) made a good move.

Hmmm, is it a Muslim solidarity or a moral solidarity that pushed Hasan Jeffries to endorse Mamdani??
