Trump threatens to take over Washington, DC....Sighhhhh

President Trump is threatening to deploy the National Guard to Washington, D.C., and take over the city's police department after a former DOGE staffer was injured in an attempted carjacking.
On social media, Trump said he had "no choice but to take federal control of the city."
Trump was also asked if he wanted Congress to overturn D.C's home rule, which has allowed the district to self-govern since 1973, and he replied, "The lawyers are already studying it."

If you think they're there to protect citizens, then you're asleep..
Trump's hope is to provoke a reaction akin to a riot and use even more force to supress certain people.

That will play well to his base and if there's an escalation, less media focus on the Epstein cover up.

And i'm sure mainstream media will pretend race is not a factor...whatevar!

. So it won't stop in DC . Its coming to the country. I don't agree with this authoritarian government, but on the other hand you have to admit that Chicago and DC to name a few are some violent cities, man.

Trump used the excuse that crime in the capital[DC} was "totally out of control" after an Elon Musk friend was beaten during an attempted carjacking..
BUT in reality, "in recent years, crime rates in D.C. have fallen sharply. [dn, 8.8]

In other words, Trump lied about the real reason he's unleashed federal law enforcement agents in the city. Part of the Trump-klan agenda was to crack down on Black communities from the get go.

Sure he got some other goals on the side, I'm just thinking that these occasionally or daily violent crimes do help Trump-Klan to achieve what he wants. Thats all.

He says there will be no safe harbor for violent criminals in D.C, and thing is a good chunk of AAs(men&women) from DC agreed with him. Now what is the real reason in your opinion for Mr Trump-Klan to unshackle the federal law enforcement agents in DC?? Like the stop and frisk search? Or more police brutality? What is it exactly? One thing for sure there will be less freedom in those Black areas.

Well, I've been in Chicago for several months, now. This is a great city. The historic problems have been with the wayward youth. But with our new mayor, the crime figures have gone way down to historic lows, actually.

Yes, the Conservative's issue is about mitigating the rise of Black Americans and the media is pretending it's everything else.

That is indeed a bold move for Trump's part, attempting to federalize police in the Capital.

The pic I took with the mayor a couple of weeks ago was at a youth summit he held.

I have to agree with Brother Omar Henderson, who recently said folks keep pointing to the crime, but they're not really trying to alleviate the poverty that is the source of the inner city crime.

Race is definitely a factor, DC is a majority Black city. BUT, its probably coming to other cities too including Houston and Milwaukee . So it won't stop in DC . Its coming to the country. Yes Les, compared to 2003 all the way to 2016 Black-on-Black violent crimes in Chicago went down significantly despite "poverty" still being a factor in the inner city.

By the way, Les, there are a lot of poor ppl in "Black Chicago" who have never committed a violent crime in their entire lives. I don't know why folks keep associating brutal murders with poverty. Coz if that was really the case then no human beings would be alive today in those 3rd world poor countries. Haiti for example should be by now an "Uninhabited" Island full of skeletons because the ppl had killed off each other due to poverty.
