Let's here it for NPR's Terry Gross!!!!

Looks like I'm going to dig a little deeper into my pockets to help offset the cancelling of funds to NPR by the orange monster. I'm a huge fan of Terry Gross' "Fresh Air" show and would really miss it. There is no better interviewer than she. The last two days I have been completely absorbed in her archival interviews with the late Johnny Cash and Etta James. She asks all the right questions.

Actually as I'm reading the Orange man seeks to end federal funding for PBS too, not just NPR. What a douchebag, he's against everything that is good.

I used to listen to her quite a bit..
Sometimes I found her to be 'too nice' & not tough enough with some of her conservative reactionaries, especially the Neo-Cons..
And then BOOM, I saw her at a Summer Stage Central Park African music Fest..
Man, TERRY GROSS IS TINY, maybe below 5ft, I swear.. and with a very small frame to boot..
But still, always informed - quite a brainiac!

Yes, overall, with liberals or conservatives, I find her interviews a bit lacking. But I enjoy when she has musicians or actors to interview. I saw her on "Finding Your Roots." It was the first time ever seeing her, and I was surprised- very petite fragile. And as my grandmother always said, she is as homely as a hedge fence.

LOL!!! I heard homely as a hedge fence from my dear, Irish grandmother. She also loved to describe a short person as knee high to a grasshopper.
