President Lyndon B. Johnson once said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

This is soo true today.

We now know that public benefits, food stamps, Medicaid are all on the chopping block as republicans prepare to cut benefits in order to pay for their tax cuts for billionaires. White voters asked for this. And now they get to experience the benefits of their vote.

But Malcolm spoke ill of Lyndon B.Johnson despite the fact he signed the civil rights bill for MLK. He called him a "Dixiecrat" and viewed him as a "political con game".

Johnson's War on Poverty program was highly successful, only to be ended so we'd have more money for the Vietnam War, which led to Johnson's ignominious departure from politics. I would argue that Lincoln was the best president ever for African Americans with LBJ second. Regardless, LBJ was still a good ole Texas boy when it came to American hegemony and White Supremacy. So much has been said about lbj's shameful actions in Vietnam that we forget about his other dirty work. Dammn, just learned something new from you, Sir. I've heard of Ronald Reagan invading Grenada in 1983, but never heard of LBJ occupying the D.R in 1964,.. plus LBJ viewed Rafael Trujillo, the Dominican Republic’s brutal dictator, as a good ally. WTF? In this sense Malcolmx was right about LBJ.

Also LBJ's use of the "N" word was prevalent. So yes, he was a civil rights hero but also a racist.

LOL, so, the civil right bill was signed by a racist. Ha-ha-ha, soo funny. At least the KKK are honest, a KKK guy will NEVER sign a civil right bill because he's racist and will let you know about it. Again Malcolm did uncover this type of behavior amongst White liberals by underlining the seriousness of the situation. He said the most dangerous man is the one who will not let you know where he stands. And this is so true about LBJ.
