tidbit: Charlie Kirk & black media representation.... maybe not...

One of the saddest things i've experienced watching the media's coverage of Charlie Kirk's murder, is how most mainstream black reporters/anchors/hosts have gone along with whitewashing of Kirk's white supremacist beliefs and his raw inferiorising of Black women. So many of them are so careful and so afraid of offending Kirk's white followers that you'd think they were discussing a legit Civil rights activist. How shameful!
We once thought black faces in media would change the narrative or at least adjust the narrative to present a Black perspective on such an event, but no, today's black faces are all about 'show me the money', keeping my job, or simply saying things to ensure you're invited to the next broadcast event.
It is soooo disappointing for me to watch young white commentators really 'getting it' and highlighting how dangerous Charlie Kirk was to Black folks while the black faces in high media places sit around like uneducated dunces. Very very scary.

After viewing several debates on youtube in which Kirk was involved, there were two themes he liked to highlight- racism and misogyny. His recital of Old Testament scripture to justify his effort to subjugate women and Blacks raised the hair on the back of my neck.
Also, did anyone view his widowed wife's speech on his death? I was struck that her face manifested no sadness; it was a face of scowl and rage. There was no call for togetherness, only retribution. The trauma from his death will never heal with that mind set. I pity their children having to see that. Christian Nationalists have serious issues.

Someone reminded me she was like a character from The Handmaid's Tale.. She was cold as hell.. Especially scary when she warned folks that they don't know what they've "unleashed"..
Anyway, too many white Christian Nationalists Charlie Kirk is another crucified one. Crazy.
Wow, lots of folks fired or suspended for being critical of Charlie Kirk..
The Trump administration warned corporate America to fire those who "were caught celebrating the assassination" of Charlie Kirk, now they are doing just that:
cnn- Delta Airlines, American Airlines and United Airlines say they have suspended workers for social media posts about last weeks fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk... [9.14]
Free speech you say?😆 And what does "celebrating" mean in this context?... A number of Black folks are caught up in this censorship madness.. In many cases getting suspended or fired for pointing out that Charlie Kirk was a racist, sexist, homophobe, Islamophobe, etc etc.. It's gonna get worst!
