The gun-control hypocrisy of the Republican Party was revealed today, 1968, when the Republican mayor of Seattle introduced a law to prevent self-defense patrols by Seattle's Black Panthers. Many gun-control laws were introduced around then with NRA support to disarm African Americans. Below a great, short video on the history of Seattle's Black Panther Party and its positive, long-lasting impact it has had on the Seattle community.
"We armed ourselves with shotguns AND LAW BOOKS to PATROL POLICE OFFICERS in our communities."
😆🤣..the law books were probably even more dangerous to the authorities than the shot guns. Lawwd
We always talk about the Black Panthers but not with enough emphasis on how educating themselves was a top priority. From Newton to Cleaver to Kathleen to Jackson..they were all well read both on national and international affairs. And now, we're stuck with the likes of AL Sharpton and the Black Misleadership class posing as Civil Rights leaders.
Antifa "a domestic terrorist organization"? hmmmmm?
President Trump has signed an executive order designating the rebel group Antifa as a domestic terror organization. I am very uncomfortable with that designation! Who's next? BLM?
For sure, in an earlier period, the Black Panthers would also be tagged a "domestic terror organization" in view of their activism and declaration of Black self-defense.
But then, why weren't the Jan.6 insurrectionists/rioters designated a terrorist organization given their effort to overthrow our gov't? Antifa doesn't come close to such an act, but yet here we are.
