Yesterday, Dec. 2, 1859, abolitionist John Brown was executed by the state of Virginia for leading the infamous Harpers Ferry Raid. Below, in remembrance of this day, I've posted his last speech performed by David Strathairn:

Powerful stuff! I like the laughter after his referencing the Bible - particularly the New Testament - in the court room.
But here's the thing: there are many John Browns among us and they are getting pretty disgusted by the MAGA movement and Trumps naked violent racist rhetoric. A number of them are also pissed at Israel's genocide on the Palestinians: when you lose someone like Charlie Kirk, that says something. Deep down I feel some serious shit is gonna explode if things continue the way they are. Just aaying.

Good post about John Brown, Maestro. I’m unable to listen to the video, right now, but GM’s statement about “a lot of other John Browns” getting disgusted is instructive.
This regime won’t be able to pull off their heist. They’re actually opening the door for the collective good Americans to band together in a previously unthinkable coalition.
