Don't pretend yall didn't watch 'Sanford and Son'..
Well, the actor who played the son 'Lamont', Demand Wilson, is no more..
The wicked one has claimed him at 79 yrs old..
I thought his character was pretty cool on a show I liked but then hated - too much colorism!!

ALSO, one of my favorite Rock singers/voice, Chuck Negron, has also been claimed..
He was 83 years old..
Dude was basically the voice of THREE DOG NIGHT, one of the most underrated Rock groups of all time..

So sorry to hear this. May Chuck finally get him some peace. Of all the rock stars, Chuck was probably the most addicted to cocaine and heroin- over twenty years. His memoir, entitled Three Dog Nightmare" tells the story. He had a great voice. Below, one of many examples of his great voice.

Great singing, great vocals..
My favorite remains 'Night In The City', a very laid back song which always brings back awesome but sentimental memories of someone I dated & loved alot..
She was above my league but for some reason, and at a particular moment, we hooked up.
Lol, I posted about her to Debbie one time on the board.

I liked them!

Lamonte Mclemore has been claimed at 90 yrs old..
He was a founder & singer of the group The 5th Dimension..
They had some great hits, including Aquarius, Wedding Bell Blues, etc etc..
I liked their sound though some questioned its 'blackness'..Lawwd!

Although the 5th dimension were out there before I was born, I remember hearing "Up, Up and Away" song when I was a teen(14-15 yrs) in the early 80s. Man, I wish Black music would return to this level of quality.
