Indeed, there are no words that can fully capture the impact of Brother Jesse Jackson.

Like here with Dr. Betty Shabazz(photo below) Jesse dedicated his life to the liberation and empowerment of Black people. Though his style was his own, but the mission was the same.

don't overlook the other person with Jesse & Betty.....RIP to them all....n/t

I know you're being mischievous

with some of these images but there was a time everyone on the planet wanted to meet Rev Jesse Jackson, especially when he was going around cleaning up the mess America's foreign policies were creating around the globe, like helping release some American hostages etc etc.

Looking back now, Shimon Peres(pictured with Jesse), was a pretty moderate guy in terms of his Zionism (he was born in Poland). I suspect he would be appalled at what Netanyahu has done to Israel's image worldwide and the ongoing genocide etc etc. I know for sure Peres didn't like Rev Jackson's support of the Palestinian cause, but here we are.

I think Jesse embraced & was embraced by every 'Third World' revolutionary and there are pics to prove it, especially with Muammar Gaddafi etc.
