I have a tendency to not watch these memorials, especially of Civil Rights leaders..
Since the Coretta Scott King service I remain skeptical about who is invited as guest of honor and who isn't - those relegated to the 'cheap' seats..
President Bush was among the honored ones while Harry Belafonte was basically disinvited because of his criticisms of Bush's foreign policies..he was not allowed to give the eulogiy..

I'm assuming Barack will be invited & honored (its a pity Jesse didn't get a chance to "cut off his balls")..
Michelle Obama deserves to be honor and invited..
Clinton Epstein will be invited & honored. Yuck!..
Joe 'genocide' Biden will be invited and honored, which is a wicked irony since Jesse was such a big supporter of the Palestinian people..

Lol.. and lets be honest, some of the gospel singers tend to go berserk in the spotlight. Lord forgive me.

Anyway, if I miss anyone duly deserving to be present, let us know.

Yep, as expected, the front row has a couple of war criminals who don't deserve to be at a memorial honoring Rev. Jesse Jackson, a legit humanitarian who cared about us all, a true warrior!

Hotep, brothers. The logistics Operation PUSH has put into place for the Rev's Homegoing has been brilliant. They actually had a special PUSH alumni service at Rainbow PUSH headquarters last night.

I bumped into Roland Martin and some others, I was surprised to see --

PUSH does things first class. They, meanwhile, had a couple of hundred or more South Americans, who were a part of a three-bus contingent preparing to leave there for Selma, Alabama.

Wish I had passed LLC, the blog here, along for them to read, as they traveled last night. I found myself practicing my newly gained Spanish with a Columbian guy, there, who didn't speak English. After all, our last two posts on LLC's front page dealt with our connections with our brothers across the border. Indeed Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson was comprehensive in his outreach.
