There are two famous men that I've adored watching movies about them when I was a teenager but surprised the heck out of me when I learned somethings about them decades later, these men were Bruce Lee and Al Capone.
Bruce Lee told "Vic Moore" who is AA, a 10th-degree karate black belt and world champion, Bruce Lee told him that he's the only one faster than him. And that was back in 1967.
Now I'm learning that Al Capone who everyone was afraid of in Chicago, was himself afraid of a Black man named "Teddy Roe". The boy who never went to school. The bootlegger who taught himself to sew. The Robin Hood who paid for funerals and hospital bills.
I think stories like this should be a part of Black History Month.
