Jesse Jackson Jr., the woke candidate --

I saw the earlier post, GM. But Jesse Jr. is the only woke candidate on the Democratic ticket. The others are stooges of AIPAC -- and of course, those who pay wind-up pulling the strings.

We had Jesse Jr. over for a fundraiser. The brother paid his dues, and now he's ready to move on with his political life.

Hey, the brotha speaks his heart. He's a former House member and exercises his right to speak his mind concerning the former incumbents of the executive branch.

He said: [Jesse Jackson Sr.] addressed issues that "demanded a consistent prophetic voice," and lets face it, when one speaks truth to power, its not going to always be olive branches.

I did a quick research and here's an interesting article:

I don't support any candidate that's funded by AIPAC or its proxies - they are a very sneaky type!
Jesse Jr. was not quite 'woke' as a Congressman and that's why he lost lots of support during his term - he was a "neo liberal" in the classic sense. He was even co-Chair of Barack Obama's 2008 campaign at the same time his father, Jesse Jackson, was having lots of issues with Baack's style of campaign as it related to the AfricanAMerican community.
Anyway, we'll see. It would be great news if he turns down AIPAC money, that's for sure.
Let us stay tuned...

FROM MY OBSERVATION, Black leaders selected & funded by AIPAC don't do anything for the Black community; like Hakeem Jeffries, their sole function as elected representatives is furthering Israel's interests. Anyway--

In Illinois. Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton won Tuesday's Democratic Senate primary in a race to succeed Senator Dick Durbin, who is retiring.. Dozens of donor groups aligned with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee(AIPAC) gave money to Strattons campaign.
If elected in November, Stratton could become the sixth Black woman to serve in the Senate in U.S. history.

Some black folks care about a Black agenda, others focus on skin tone politics. Sad.

Yes, GM, Jesse ran a good campaign, but could not overcome the AIPAC funding of his opponent. They ran TV ads for her during evening prime time while families were eating dinner, every evening. They ran on all the network stations. If you changed the channel there she was again. She also had top placement on the ballot. The first name I saw was Donna Miller, and her name had been so primed in even my mind that I realized non-woke folks would by knee-jerk reaction vote for her. Jesse Jr’s name was down in the middle of the ballot of 10 or so candidates. It was like I had to wade through them to get to his name.

And from what I'm hearing, many of Donna Miller's ads didn't mention AIPAC or even Israel, so folks didn't really know who was behind them - quite sneaky! lol

The New York Times breakdown show Donna Miller with 33,053 against Jesse jr's 23,735, with 94% counted..
It will be interesting to see the racial breakdown etc..
He could make a run for mayor later on or something..

You know what, Arabs can play the same money game like Aipac if they want to, but they don't care about their Palestinian brothers and sisters.

G, there are wealthy individuals, royal families, and state-backed entities from "oil-rich Arab nations", particularly in the Gulf that can play the Aipac game but on the reverse. FYI Saudis and Qataris specifically have historically utilized their vast financial resources to influence politicians and shape political agendas globally. This influence is often exerted through legal lobbying, charitable donations, massive investments, and business transactions rather than simple "under-the-table" Abdulite bribes.

You know how many millions the Qataris have spent to bring down Gaddafi and Libya? Why can't they use that money to finance some support for the Palestinian case as Aipac is doing for Israel?

There is a good reason why I'm equally MAD at Abdul, dude. LOL, man, I'm sick and tired of schooling you every now and then.
