Birtish actor Idris Elba has been knighted by the Royal Family - by King Charles..
He had to get down on his knees, slightly bow, before King Charles used his royal sword to tap on both his shoulders, thus making Idris a 'British Knight'..

Now wWat is power and what is African foolishness?
It is when you get on your knees & bow before the same Royal family who helped enslaved your ancestors and colonized your people. Idris Alba is of Senegalese & Ghanian ancestry but born in England.

I really don't go to movies any more but my kids recommended "Sinners", directed by Ryan Coogler, and I can honestly say its one of the best Black films EVAR!
Michael B. Jordon was excellent and deserves the best actor trophy for that film!

Of course he won't win because frankly, Jordon is not the kind of Black male the powers that be in Hollywood reward - Jordon is kinda 'ole school negro' much like Denzil Washington; but since Denzil is simply the best actor around they had to reward him with two Oscars. If life was fair, Denzil would have had a third one by now, but so be it.

By the end of the night we'll see if Michael B. Jordon, Ryan Coogler and "Sinners" win anything. I'm not hopeful.

I've heard of the sinners movie, and I'm due to watch it next month in London with my British-Jamaican chick, for real!!! lol
