There is no doubt that our new pope is no stranger to the teachings of liberation theology. Although he used no words associated with Marxian lexicon, he made it crystal clear that profits, imperialism and neo-colonialism were at the heart of Africa's problems. The pope spent many years as a missionary in Peru, where one of the founders of liberation theology Gustavo Gutiérrez-Merino Díaz resided.

Pope Leo XIV strongly condemned modern "neocolonialism" as a "refined" and "subtle" crime that still plagues the continent (Africa).

Hotep brothers. GM, are you Catholic? Your Pope may be some of the hits from Italy, today. Now, we talked about vulgar language vs. obscenity vs. profanity... .

Well, I won't get too deep into the distinguishing characteristics of cuss words, so don't shoot. But I talked with a well-known guy recently about a possible visit with the pontiff.

And we do have have hits from Italy, on this forum, as we speak. We get lots of incognito hits, meanwhile, where I can't tell where they're from. When I mentioned Time magazine and the Heritage Foundation a few months ago, because I could trace the URL entries, hits continued, but I'm not sure who posted them.

This www has unlimited reach. We're getting more hits from Asia, Vietnam, Singapore, India, etc. than the U.S.

So thanks again forumites for your continued support. Let's make this blog an incipient step in reshaping the framing of the Black man, on this planet.

POPE LEO IS AFRAID OF NO ONE!

During Pope Leo's visit to Equatorial Guinea, he didn't hold back!
Right in the faces the dictatorship he condemned the country's prison system, which is probably the worst on the African continent!
He condemned its Human Rights record, greed, treatment of women, etc etc.

.. Pope Leo ask for, and was allowed, an audience with prisoners.. near the end of his address it started raining.. the prisoners started jumping up and down with shouts of "Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!"
Leo almost started a prison rebellion in Equatorial Guinea...Ha! Ha!

btw, Equatorial Guinea's dictatorship is really tight with the U.S. Surprised??
