There's this progressive Arab guy who is also a Muslim, and is giving the Democratic party establishment heartburn since he's now rising in the polls.. His name is Abdul El-Sayed and running in the Micigan Democratic party U.S. senate primary.. His parents are Egyptian.
😂..of course i'm gonna root for him because he's a strong critic of Israel and shares most of Bernie Sanders agenda.
Good luck to him(photo below) and he can win, but like Mamdani I don't fully trust anyone who works for a nation strongly influenced by AIPAC.
Mayors are also city managers and in some way, shape or form they have to deal/work with the wealthy class of the city. Jews in NYC owns the biggest businesses(The immigrants don't), they run NYC. Mamdani's hands are too short.
Like Obama, Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed(El-Sayed means "Master" in Arabic) are just symbols at the end of the day. So that Arab-Americans or Muslim Americans can also say, yes, we had "our" first Muslim mayor of NYC. Apparently the rivals of AAs in these positions are definitely the Browns and is going to be the "browns". Arabs and Latinos!!!
In a few years time you will start seeing Hispanics and Arab-Americans getting elected as mayors of the city in the southern states,.. states where Blacks are supposed to be the majority/minority. LOL!!
Another progressive, this time in Philadelphia, is gathering momentum.. HIs name is Chris Rabb, a AfricanAmerican, running in a field of three other AAs.. Has legit progressive creds.. He wants to represent Philadelphia's PA-3 district in Congress..
LOL.. and yes, the race is now shaping up as a contest between the pro-Palestine & Israel lobby wings of the Democratic party. And guess which side i'm rooting for, ehhhh?
Never heard of him before(photo below) he's incredible on how he defeated one of Philly's most powerful political machines.
Speaking of Palestine, last month by the end of March I went in with a suitcase full of clothes that I don't wear anymore and gave it to a nonprofit organization near me that donate clothes to Palestinians. Thats the least I could do to help.
Great act of kindness on your part! But always do your research on the nonprofits you're donating too! Some of them are corrupt as fuccck! I swear! I'm not making this up!
Man, my experience with some nonprofits collecting stuff for Haiti, especially after the earthquake, was terrible and made me a more cynical person. So be careful! But big props to you Mr TheOne!
By the way its not the first time I'm making donations to Palestine. Done it in 2003 when Ariel Sharon was prime minister. I think this nonprofit organization I went to in Brussels is okay, they looked busy. I've seen them and spoke to them, they were 100% Palestinians.
Honestly, at first I was going to give my suitcase to the victims of Jamaica's Hurricane Melissa that made a catastrophic landfall in Jamaica in late October 2025. But for some reason it was a bit late for me to make a donation to Jamaicans in early April 2026 according to my British-Jamaican chick because Jamaicans have already received lots of help, Jamaica's diaspora in the UK alone have donated $2.6 million. Imagine Jamaica's global diaspora and other non-Jamaican helpers.
So for this reason I've decided right away to switch my donation to Palestinians instead since the conflict in the occupied territories is still ongoing. At least Hurricane Melissa hit only one time and stopped, but on the other hand the IDF didn't really stopped. Palestinians are still suffering six months into Gaza ceasefire. The reality in Gaza remains catastrophic, and people can't access basic necessities amid a decimated health system.
