First of all I'd like to make it clear that this is just history, this is what is written in the history books. Please note this post has nothing to do with Palestine, Gaza, Netanyahu, Zionists, Hamas or the genocide, okkaaay?? Okkaaay?? This is NOT an "anti-arab" post its just historical facts. Okaaay? So, can we stay civilised? And if anyone doesn't like the talk about "Ghazwaat" below, then no need to reply, just move on and speak about the weather. Okaay?
Lets cook,...anyway, I knew about the "Ghazwaat" since I was a kid coz I grew up in a Muslim country, and I believe before the Greater Israel project was put on table there was this "greater Arabia project too" which started around 623 AD, they called it "Ghazwaat". Abdul went from a small part of Arabia(Mecca&Medina) and conquered all of what is called the Middle-east today including half of Africa under the name of "Allah" and Islam. Ghazwaat was indeed driven by religious, security, and territorial ideologies.
Here is a breakdown of the negative aspects often highlighted in criticisms.
The term Ghazwat (plural of Ghazwa) refers to the battles or military "expeditions" in which the Prophet Muhammad personally participated. And like any war, the Ghazwat resulted in significant loss of life on both sides. Battles like Uhud resulted in high casualties for Muslims, while others resulted in heavy losses for the opposing Meccan forces.
Also following the "Battle of Banu Qurayza", a significant number of men from the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza were executed following their surrender after they breached a treaty during the Battle of the Trench. Critics sometimes cite the brutality of 7th-century warfare as inherently harsh by modern standards, involving sieges, cutting off supplies, and the capture of populations.
(hmmmm, what color were these captured populations? )
Karma is a biitch, but hopefully/maybe Iran will make an end to the Greater Israel project. If Iran fails to stop it, then Karma is really working.

My only intention behind my "headline" was the point in common I see between "Greater Israel project" and "Ghazwaat" which is the expansionist vision they both have. One is a Zionist expansion and the other WAS a Muslim expansion. I wasn't even thinking of Gaza or the genocide, you did.

Thats how it seems, Les. But don't underestimate Iran which means no need for Americans to realize anything,..well, if Americans realize something then its only going to be a plus.
Indeed Iran remains an obstacle to the "Greater Israel project". Yes, Israel wants to expand in the Middle East. But its failure to defeat Iran is a major setback for its hegemonic plans.
