dark days for Christians in Jerusalem...oh Israel

Did yall see the video of the Israeli guy attacking a French Catholic nun and kicking her while on the groound? Not a good look!

Unsurpringly this is getting more coverage around the world than in the US.
The anti-Christian hate is getting so bad Israeli papers are expressing concern:
"The spitting and humiliation are daily. People [christians] are afraid to walk in Jerusalem with Christian symbols."

As i've said here before, Israeli society is in a bad place. Netanyahu has unleashed something terrible in Israel.
And we thought it was only against Palestinians/Muslims & Ethiopian Jews. Sad.

Honestly I was well aware of the Christian communities in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories facing an increasing marginalization, characterized by rising violence, structural discrimination, and a shrinking population.

I do remember posting about some "Christian" Afro-Palestinians not long ago, a tiny minority, (I recall only Les replied to the subject) FYI Afro-Palestinian Christians are marginalized in the Muslim Majority Palestine for being Christian and Black, and on the other hand they are also rejected in Israel for being Christian, Black and Palestinians. Hahahahahaha!!!

And also the Christian Afro-Palestinians skin color can be an obstacle to the majority White Christian Palestinians. hahahaha!!

Yes, that attack against the nun points to a worrisome culture developing in that country, under the current regime. Once the Christians-at-large turn on them the colonialist project will be over.

I agree! But the current Israel regime is made up of Zionist zealots and religious bigots.
They are so blinded by their fanaticism that they're incapable of hearing & understanding why the world is turning against Israel

I can only imagine how angry Pope Leo is about what's unfolding inside Gaza, the West Bank, and now Lebanon; Yet he has to be very diplomatic in his language to avoid being labeled an antisemite. But as head of the Catholic Church and one of the world's most prominent Christian leaders, he simply can't be quiet.

Pope Francis wasn't as diplomatic though, this is how he described unfolding events in Gaza etc: "This is cruelty. This is not war."
RIP POPE FRANCIS.

MORE ANTI-CHRISTIAN MADNESS FROM THE IDF..

This time there's a video & image of an Israeli soldier cozing up to & putting his arm around a statue of the Blessed Mother Mary, lighting up a cigarette, and sticking it into her mouth, and laughing about it..
And of course his colleagues are filming & taking pics of the whole act of defilement against a Catholic icon. Scary stuff!

I mean surely, Netanyahu & his military commanders must be warning their soldiers about doing such shit, cause its pissing off lots of folks around the world, and not just Christians.
Talk about a public relations nightmare - that shit is being circulated all over the world. Goodness!

(photo below), And the Christians of the world are not making any noise about it. Now imagine if he had placed a cigarette into the mouth of a portrait of Prophet Muhammad, lawwwd, lawwwd, lawwwwd, the world would have gone upside down, not to mention some innocent Jewish lives being taking away in the streets of Paris or London, or even NYC. Fanatic Muslims don't play. Fanatic Christians have to deal with the freedom of speech, freedom of choice, democracy etc even when it hurts to see Virgin Mary being mocked.

Anyway, I think you have the right to disagree with ppl's beliefs but don't play it out, at least show some respect and don't bother. Just walk away!!
