BLACK VOTERS MATTER! Sure, but....

In light of the swift uppercut the right-wing Supreme Court landed on the Voting Rights Act, what now for Black representation and black voting rights?

I'm noticing the resurrection of the "Black Voters Matter"/BVM chant among the usual activists in places like Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, etc., but is this the right slogan at this time?

Given the disgraceful scam that ended the Black Lives Matter movement and the traitorous corruption among its founders (Patrice cullors/opal tometi/Alicia garza - they basically stole all the damn money), have we learned anything that would make the BVM leaders more accountable & responsible this time around? Are there systems in place in the Black community to keep them honest?

Like it or not, the slogan 'Black Voters Matter' is now burdened by the negative fallout around Black Lives Matter. Sad, but true.

”Black Voters Matter” is certainly a good catch phrase. I’d say go with it. As for people who will work to exploit any opportunity they get to make some money, I have to say go for it, as long as they’re not defrauding the movement.

But speakers fees, conferences, etc. are part and parcel to creating energy behind the movement. Some people are good at it —

Wow, I must be missing something in the translation.
This must be a new ethic in terms of Black activism; for under this ethic, most of the Civil Rights workers/activists/revolutionaries who sacrificed so much for us would be wealthy; On the contrary, most of them ended up broke! They were not looking for financial rewards, they simply wanted freedom for their people.

Seems AOC/Alexandria Ocasio Cortz is making big moves to garner support from African American voters for a potential run for the presidency on the Democratic Party ticket..

Dr Bernice King, who is the CEO of 'The King Cennter', welcomed AOC..
A nice interview about Voting Rights, ICE, Environmental issues etc.

I remain a fan of AOC though sometimes she steps on my little toe..😆

Guess who I like among the two? It ain't the Black one!

Rev. Raphael Warnock was cool as a preacher & Senior Pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta - yep, the one Dr King made famous..
He's a Morehouse Man..
He was progressive..
He even supported the Palestinian cause..
AND THEN he had an AIPAC vision - they came to him in a dream and promised if he run for political office they'd pay all his bills. Yep, they promised to fund his campaign for a Senate run. Rev. Warnock obliged, and the rest is history!

Warnock is now one of the biggest supporters of Israel - even during the genocide, although recently he's been saying some things about "peace" and brotherhood blah blah blah(maybe he read Ta-Nehesi's book. lol)
Right now, Sen. Raphael Warnock IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST RECIPIENTS OF AIPAC MONEY - he's up there with Hakeem Jeffries & Charles Schumer, Cory Booker, etc...I think he gets over $1 million.
In other words, Sen. Warnock is booked and spoken for.

NOW AOC, at this moment in time, is not accepting ANY AIPAC SHIT. Thus why i'm supporting her even with some misgivings. Im hoping she's able to retain her integrity.

So yes, resisting the Israel lobby is a big political litmus test for me. I am pro-Palestine all the way!
Now go ahead and shoot.. see if I care..I ain't afraid of no man!
