This one too happened in March 2026, this year, and I haven't heard of it until today!!!

A historic milestone has been recorded in France following the municipal elections of March 15, as Leslie Halleur-Echaroux Djoufack(photo below), a woman of Cameroonian origin, emerged victorious in Saint-Mammès a French town of about 4.000 ppl.

She secured 50.50% of the vote, earning her the position of mayor and marking a significant political achievement for both the town and the Cameroonian community abroad. She has lived in Saint-Mammés for a decade and becomes the first ever woman to lead the municipality since its establishment in "1789". (and she's Black African).

ANd whats worse for me(Kris) is that her husband is African too.

Good lawwd, this one as well happened this year.

Na'Cole Thompson(photo below) became the first black female mayor ever elected in "Leander", TX, on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.

Now where the heck is the city of "Leander" located in the state of Texas?? Leander must be one of the lesser-known places in Texas.

What we know for sure is that they're both gonna serve the interests of the white power struture.
From my quick reading, i'm more hopeful about Leslie Djoufack - any Black woman who's into Makossa & Zouk music will get my embrace.
